The emergency department exists in order to see patients who have an injury or whose health haw suddenly deteriorated and who will need treatment that day.
Patients with minor injuries may be seen and treated by the emergency practitioner or doctor on duty in our minor injury unit, which is open 24hrs seven days a week.
Upon your arrival at LITO Private Hospital, the staff at the reception desk will check & update all your personal details records. After your registration you will be called according to your appointment order. Every effort is made to ensure that, the doctor sees you within 30 minutes of your appointment time.
After your doctors visit please see the clinic reception before you leave the hospital, who will ensure any further arrangements are made.

The patients advice & liaison services department are here to provide patients, families with confidential on – the – spot help and advice.
Sometimes people don’t know where to get help and we can be that first port of call for support. We can also provide important information for patients about the health service. If you are inpatients and wish to visit you on the ward, please ask a member of staff or a relative to contact us on your behalf.
What we aim to do:
Ø Sort out problems quickly on your behalf.
Ø Listen to your concerns, suggestions and queries.
Ø Provide a voice to give real weight to your experience.
Ø Supply information on LITO Private Hospital services.
On your arrival at LITO Private Hospital, please report to the main reception on the ground floor (main entrance), unless your doctor gives you alternative instructions. The receptionist will check and update all your details and direct you to the appropriate ward or department. All wards and departments at LITO Private Hospital have access to a interpreting service. Please ask staff if you need to arrange this service.
On your admission, either the doctor or nurses will advice you if you can eat or drink.

Friends & relatives may telephone the ward, department to find out how you are getting on, but for reasons of confidentiality, no detailed medical information will be given over the telephone.
We are contracted with most European Travel & home insurance companies. Therefore our Insurance department can deal directly with the insurances companies on your behalf.
At LITO Private Hospital, we aim to provide our patients with a level of care that is sensitive to each individuals needs.
In this section you will find information on the many facilities we provide for patients to help make their visit as comfortable as possible.
Ø Parking & toilet facilities are available for people with disabilities.
Ø A mini bus is available everyday to transfer you at any destination towards Ayia Napa – Protaras – Paralimni area, free of charge. Please contact the reception to book a pick up time.
Ø The LITO Private Hospital operates a no smoking policy and we would be grateful if this is respected. Smoking at the hospital is restricted to a number of designated smoking shelters only, located in the following areas for patients & visitors:
1. Adjacent to the main entrance walkway.
2. An open roof adjacent on the surgical ward.
Ø For reasons of safety the use of mobile phones is not permitted in any clinical areas, this includes the wards, as their use can affect vital equipment. As a quite mobile phones should only be used to sent or receive calls in public areas, for example the main hospital corridors, or outside the building or the main reception.
Ø There is a free phone taxi call out service at the reception desk. Please the receptionist to help you.
Ø Hot & cold beverages can be obtained from vending machines within the outpatients department.
Ø If Greek is not your first language, we have an interpreting service available for almost the European or not languages.
Ø All rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone, sate line tv, air – conditioner, central heating WC, showers and big closets.
