The cardiology department provides a full range of investigations to detect heart disease in outpatient’s settings. A range of tests to detect heart disease is provided and includes:
- Electrocardiography (ECG) including the provision of a 24-hour holder monitor.
- Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
- Echocardiography.
- Treadmill exercise “ stress – testing”.
A full range of cardiac rehabilitation services are offered to people recovering from a myocardial infarction (heart attack).
